2012 BMW 3-Series / 5-Series M Performance (American Version)
The M Performance Parts catalogue includes 20-inch forged alloy rims for the latest 3-Series and 5-Series models, which the company says are 1kg (2.4 pounds) lighter per wheel than the same size standard wheel.
To improve braking performance, there is a Brembo big-brake kit with painted calipers in red, yellow or orange, and sports brake discs measuring 370 x 30 mm on the front axle and 345 x 24 mm on the rear axle.
For the six-cylinder turbocharged 335i and 535i sedans, BMW offers a sports exhaust system complete with two chrome-plated 80 mm tailpipes.
On the outside, the M Performance Parts catalogue includes high-gloss black kidney grilles and carbon fiber mirror caps for both the 3- and 5-Series models, racing stripes for the 3-Series, and a carbon fiber rear deck lid spoiler for the 5 Series sedan.
There is a variety of interior goodies such as a flat-bottom, motorsports-inspired, Alcantara steering wheel for the 3-Series, a seven piece carbon fiber and Alcantara interior trim set for both sedans, and a carbon fiber gear shift knob and selector lever for vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions.
BMW notes that all parts come with a factory warranty.

The Dart effectively replaces the Caliber in Dodge’s lineup offering the Chrysler Group a direct rival to the Ford Focus and Chevrolet saloons.
It is based on a wider and longer version of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta’s platform and will offer American buyers an initial choice of three gasoline four-cylinder engines including a pair of natural aspirated units with a displacement of 2.0-liters and 2.4-liters rated at 160 and 184-horses respectively as well as a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine from the Abarth 500 with 160-ponies.
The front-wheel drive Dart will debut with a Fiat Group-sourced 6-speed dual-clutch transmission and a six-speed manual gearbox but in 2013, it will gain a new 9-speed transmission that is currently being developed by the ZF Group.

2012 Chevrolet Sonic Z-Spec #1 – Designers took a turbocharged Sonic five-door and dressed it with concept Z-Spec accessories. They added Z-Spec ground effects, a spoiler, unique grille and graphics package – then finished it off with a Torch Red exterior and Z-Spec concept 18-inch wheels.
Inside, the Cobalt Red cabin features custom trim, including perforated black suede seat inserts, a Z-Spec sport pedal kit, sport shift knob and a racing-style flat-bottom steering wheel. Additional upgrades include performance brakes with four-piston calipers, a new high-flow exhaust system and performance suspension parts.
